Which club will Jose choose?

Jose gonna pick?
MAN UTD
Current boss: Alex Ferguson
Why they'd want him
HE swears he will hang around for another year but who would bet against Alex Ferguson surprising everyone and calling it a day at the end of this season?
If United pulled off a Champions League and Premier League double, who could blame him for leaving right at the top? And if they end the season empty-handed, who could blame him for deciding it is time to hand over to a younger man.
For and against
FOR: Mourinho has experience at the biggest clubs in the world. A combination of United and Mourinho would be an irresistible magnet for the world's greatest players.
AGAINST: Fergie is a tough act to follow after years of success. Plus Mourinho would need to prise a lot of money out of the Glazer family to build the team he would want.
LIVERPOOL
Current boss: Kenny Dalglish
Why they'd want him
KING KENNY is in charge until at least the end of the season. But, if the Anfield board decide his return is short term, then Mourinho would be one of the few managers Dalglish's idolising Kop congregation would accept.
And Liverpool are a sleeping giant in the Premier League - just the type of club Jose likes to take over.
For and against
FOR: The chance to become an Anfield hero if they could win the title for the first time since 1990. The opportunity to put a club that has phenomenal worldwide support back into the big time.
AGAINST: Club needs an overhaul - but would US owners back him with big money? They have spent big on Suarez and Carroll but would Jose have chosen them?
CHELSEA
Current boss: Carlo Ancelotti
Why they'd want him
CARLO ANCELOTTI'S side have struggled to defend their Premier League title this season and it has made the well-respected Italian look vulnerable.
Mourinho is still adored by Blues fans and players alike and his return to Stamford Bridge - back alongside his big favourites John Terry and Frank Lampard - would really get the club buzzing again.
For and against
FOR: Mourinho knows the club inside out and can sort out their problems. He has stayed in touch with key players, who still revere him as the Messiah. Would like the idea of being the Special One Mark II.
AGAINST: Bust-up with Roman Abramovich means questions over whether they can work again. Plus there's the old adage: Never go back.
MAN CITY
Current boss: Roberto Mancini
Why they'd want him
MOURINHO can handle the high profile and pressure which comes with the job at Eastlands these days.
They can still qualify for the Champions League next season and, armed with the biggest piggy bank in football, Jose could spend, spend, spend his way to glory.
Roberto Mancini is also under increasing pressure as his side fails to really sparkle.
For and against
FOR: Financial backing to build one of the best squads in the world. Mourinho would be given the backing and freedom to bring in whoever he wants.
AGAINST: Demanding owner and soap opera at City would mean no respite after Real Madrid. Plus, even if they start winning, will they ever be bigger than their rivals down the road?
TOTTENHAM
Current boss: Harry Redknapp
Why they'd want him
SPURS will need a replacement if Harry Redknapp's hard work over the last two years leads to the FA appointing him as the next England manager.
The North London club's finances are in good order and they are already not too far from being a top European side - judging by their amazing success in the Champions League this season.
For and against
FOR: Mourinho takes on big projects like bringing the title back to Chelsea.
The groundwork has been done by Harry, now they need the icing on the cake to bring in the trophies.
AGAINST: Not guaranteed to be playing Champions League football next season.
Although funds would be available, Spurs keep a tight ship and do not spend money just for the sake of it.
