I have a say

Falkirk have ruled out French defender Mehdi Khalis for their crunch promotion clash with second placed Dunfermline.

Brian McLean and Mark Millar are also doubts for a game that manager Steven Pressley describes as "massive".

He said: "This is a huge game for Falkirk, a massive one and one I am looking for us to win.

"I have played in plenty of passionate derbies in my career and this one is up there with them with the only difference being that it is viewed by a smaller crowd than an Old Firm game.

"Dunfermline have plenty of experienced players but we played really well at their place recently and were unlucky not to win. Hopefully we can put that right in this game."

Dunfermline are without the injured quartet of Neil McGregor, Andy Dowie, Nicky Phinn and Steven Bell.

After losing to Morton last Saturday and drawing with Ross County, Pars manager Jim McIntyre believes that this is the ideal game for his men to be going into.

He said: "We have been disappointed with our last two results but you cannot worry for too long about them when you have a game like this coming up.

"Our players will be motivated enough and this would be a great game to win and get us going again.

"We won there on the opening day of the league season and a repeat of that would be very welcome."
