Livingston extended their lead at the top of the Second Division to three points with a narrow 2-1 win at relegation-threatened Stenhousemuir.
Livi have now won their last four games, scoring a total of 12 goals and conceding just once.
Iain Russell handed the league leaders a third-minute lead with a simple finish from six yards and Liam Cox went close to doubling his side's advantage with a fierce long-range effort in the 13th minute.
Raffaele De Vita made it 2-0 in the 31st minute with a fierce strike from just inside the area, and although Alex Williams pulled a goal back for the home side, Livi held on to claim a valuable three points in their title bid.
