Two goals in the final four minutes saw Forfar come from behind to beat promotion rivals Brechin 2-1 at Station Park.
The visitors took the lead in the 65th minute when Ewan Moyes headed into the bottom corner from close range from Jordan Kirkpatrick`s cross.
Forfar came close to equalising with six minutes left when Chris Templeman headed a Ross Campbell corner against the crossbar.
But the striker made no mistake with his next opportunity in the 86th minute as he tucked home an Iain Campbell corner.
Brechin`s David McKenna was denied by Forfar stopper Scott Gallacher from point-blank range in the last minute.
That save proved crucial as deep into injury time Forfar snatched victory as Campbell slotted home a Barry Sellars pass from six yards.
