A friend of the Geordie star said she was frustrated waiting for X Factor chief Simon Cowell to decide who will be on the judges panel.
The pal added: "She cannot hide from all the reports which one week say she is definitely doing it, the next week definitely not.
"She wants to be told for certain soon to put all this to bed once and for all."
