Ten-man County hold out for draw

Stirling remain rooted to the foot of the Division One table after being held to a goalless draw by ten-man Ross County at Firs Park.

The Binos are now five points from safety after missing the chance to drag third from bottom Ross back into the relegation battle.

The home side had goalkeeper Scott Christie to thank for keeping them on level terms with a number of fine saves.

He brilliantly tipped over Mark Corcoran's header in the 37th minute before denying Garry Wood from close range just moments later.

He also tipped a curling effort from Corcoran round the post in the second half before Ross defender Jonathan Flynn was dismissed in the 80th minute for a second booking.
