Former Chelsea manager is still setting records
Jose Mourinho has insisted his nine-year unbeaten record in home games means nothing to him.
The last time the self-styled "Special One" lost a league game in front of his own fans was when Porto were beaten by Beira Mar on 23rd February, 2002.
Mourinho has since gone an incredible 148 games unbeaten with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
Records
However, he maintains he has no interest in records and his only focus is on winning trophies.
"Records like this mean nothing to me, it's points I'm really interested in," said Mourinho.
"Over the years I've done nothing to protect this record.
Risks
"On numerous occasions I have been in situations when my teams have been drawing games and I have had to take risks in those matches."
He added: "It has never crossed my mind to tactically protect that record. I have taken risks to win games because three points are far better than one.
"It's points that win prizes not home records. It's better to win five games and lose one than draw six games. You work the maths out."
