Dundee 1 : 1 Greenock Morton - Dee held by Morton
Posted Saturday, February 26, 2011 by PA
Dundee extended their unbeaten run to 17 league games despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Morton at Dens Park.
The in-form home side started the game brightly and deservedly took the lead in the 26th minute when Sean Higgins fired into the bottom corner from the edge of the 18-yard box.
Nicholas Riley and Craig Forsyth had further chances to add to the scoreline, and the misses proved to be costly when Allan Jenkins equalised for Morton in the 75th minute.
After a goalmouth scramble, David O'Brien squared the ball for Jenkins to tap into an unguarded net from six yards.
