Barca rue Guard of dishonour

BARCELONA are stunned that the man who helped Arsenal snatch a 16-year-old wonderkid from them is boss Pep Guardiola's BROTHER.

Agent Pere Guardiola represents midfielder Jon Miquel Toral Harper, who signed for the London club as soon as he turned 16 last week.

His decision has caused uproar at Barcelona, who feel cheated like they did when they lost Cesc Fabregas to the Gunners.

Although Pere briefed Catalan media that he tried to convince Toral to reject Arsenal, the fact he is the youngster's agent has raised eyebrows.

A top Barcelona source said: "Our president Sandro Rossell is trying to ensure there are no more fiascos like we had with Fabregas.

"So, for a lad represented by the manager's brother to leave in identical circumstances to Cesc is incredible."

Rossell's outburst at Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis about the issue last week seems even more embarrassing given Pere Guardiola's involvement.

Guardiola also represents another Barca whizkid, Sergi Samper, who rejected the Gunners.
