Dumbarton extended their unbeaten run to six games with their second win over Peterhead in three days, running out 3-0 winners at the Strathclyde Homes Stadium.

Sons opened the scoring in the 32nd minute when Mark Gilhaney fired Ryan McStay's cross into the bottom corner from 12 yards.

Things got worse for Peterhead just six minutes later as right-back David Donald was dismissed for foul and abusive language.

The home side deservedly doubled their lead in the 54th minute when Gilhaney turned Andrew Geggan's pass past John Bateman.

Gilhaney then turned provider for Jon McShane to add his side's third in the 60th minute.
