Redknapp: Wants miracle finish
Harry Redknapp believes it would be a 'miracle' if Tottenham were to claim a top-four finish this season.
Spurs secured such a standing last term, edging out free-spending Manchester City in the battle for UEFA Champions League qualification.
They have made the most of that success, with a remarkable run through Europe's premier club competition taking them to the last 16.
Their efforts on the continent have not been to the detriment of their domestic endeavours, though, with Redknapp having guided the club back into the top four.
The usual suspects are there again, with City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United also in the hunt.
Redknapp feels his side should be considered outsiders in that particular race, given how much some of their rivals have spent, and believes Champions League qualification should be viewed as a bonus rather than as a necessity.
"It would be a miracle if we did qualify," he said.
"I think people get carried away thinking Tottenham should be in the Champions League. Why should we be in the Champions League?
