Dumbarton will again be without midfield pair Alan Cook and Craig McLeish for the clash with Peterhead.

And interim boss Allan Adamson will delay naming his team as a number of players are suffering `aches and pains' following their Balmoor win against the Blue Toon.

The Sons will move further away from relegation trouble if they can repeat their weekend victory, and will extend an unbeaten run of five games.

However, Adamson knows Peterhead will be out to put an end to that record, saying: "They will be doubly determined to both win this game and move themselves away from the foot of the table.

"There will be no complacency here as nothing has been achieved yet."

Peterhead will be missing defender Bobby Mann (ankle).

However, manager Neale Cooper is promising changes to his line-up after feeling let down by his side at the weekend when they went down 2-1 to the Sons.

Cooper said: "Saturday's defeat really hurt me and not enough players played anything like they can.

"We have been up and down all season and anyone that drops out cannot complain as it was too easy for Dumbarton at our place.

"We are in a relegation battle and it is all about bottle now. I will have to pick the players that have the right mentality to move us away from the foot of the table."
