Flannigan late show salvages point for Partick

Iain Flannigan notched a late equaliser to hand Partick a point in their 1-1 draw at Cowdenbeath.
The Blue Brazil forced the issue as Partick made a disastrous start and found themselves behind after just eight minutes at Central Park.
Patrick Boyle was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box and Archie Campbell dispatched the resultant spot-kick past Scott Fox.
The hosts seemed content to sit on their lead and chances were at a premium in a keenly-fought opening period.
Thistle should have grabbed a leveller when John Robertson managed to fire over from six yards.
But they continued to plug away and were rewarded when Flannigan poached an equaliser in the 85th minute with a close-range finish into the bottom corner.
