I have a say

Trialists Stewart Greacen and Tom Brighton will not be in the Dundee squad that will host Raith Rovers.

Defender Greacen has gone to play football in Ireland and Brighton has dropped out after playing the three games he was allowed to participate in.

Everyone else at Dens Park is available to manager Barry Smith, who is not thinking about what might have been.

"I am not concerned that this would have been a promotion clash if we had not lost the 25 points, all I am concerned about is that we pick up the three points and keep moving up the table," said Smith.

"There is a long way to go and we need to win as many of the 16 games left as possible to avoid relegation."

First Division leaders Raith already have striker Gary Wales ruled out through injury and a trio of other players facing a fitness battle.

Mark Campbell, Willie Dyer and Allan Walker are all struggling to make it.

Manager John McGlynn said: "Mark is giving us the greatest concern as he has damaged a nerve in his thigh. The other two guys may still make it, if there has been no reaction after doing some light training on Thursday."

McGlynn has told his men that they need to be at their best.

He added: "If it was not for their 25-point penalty Dundee would be sitting on the same points total as ourselves. As far as I am concerned this is a top of the table clash."
