Alloa vs Forfar preview - Alloa look to leapfrog Forfar with long-awaited win

Out-of-sorts Alloa will be without midfielders Nathan Taggart and Darren Smith for the visit of Forfar.
The duo join Brown Ferguson in the treatment room for the crunch clash, however Recreation Park manager Allan Maitland has received some good news with midfielder Kevin McDonald returning to fitness after missing out last weekend.
The Wasps are out to end a disappointing run of results, and Maitland said: "This will be a great game to win as it would move us back into a play-off spot and put some pressure on Forfar.
"We have lost four games in a row and that is far too many already, so we need to get three points and start looking upwards again.
"Despite our recent results it is a game we are looking forward to and one we aim to win."
Forfar will be missing the suspended Martyn Fotheringham while Marc McCulloch is also a doubt.
Manager Dick Campbell has told his players to be wary of an Alloa side who sit immediately beneath them in the table.
Campbell said: "Beware of the wounded lion is my advice to the players and make no mistake about it, Alloa will be wounded by their recent results.
"They are too good a side to drop much further down the league and this is a massive game for them so we need to be ready for the battle."
The Loons boss added: "We are going there in good form with Dale Hilson and Bryan Deasley looking really sharp, so Alloa will have plenty to think about as well."
