Airdrie vs Peterhead preview - United waiting on Gemmill fitness

Scott Gemmill is a doubt for Airdrie ahead of the visit of Peterhead.
The striker has a knock and is only rated at 50/50 by boss Jimmy Boyle. Defender Euen Grant is a definite absentee as he is suspended.
Boyle has been pleased with his players' reaction to losing their last two league games to Stenhousemuir and Dumbarton.
He said: "We have put in disappointing displays in those games but the boys have came in and worked really hard in training.
"They recognise that we have not been playing well enough recently but, if we play against Peterhead at the high tempo we`ve trained at, we will do okay.
"We are still a young side but we need to start putting some more points on the board, particularly from home games."
Bobby Mann is Peterhead`s only absentee. The veteran defender is still struggling with an ankle injury.
The Blue Toon are enjoying their best run of form in the league this season, having won three of their last four games.
Manager Neale Cooper is hoping to extend that run and move further away from the Diamonds in the table.
"So far 2011 has been good to us in the league and long may that continue," said Cooper.
"I want us to get a real momentum behind us and start to climb the table to make our bad start to the league a distant memory."
