Dumbarton vs Brechin City preview - Dumbarton hopeful on McShane

Dumbarton hope to welcome back on-loan St Mirren striker Jon McShane when Brechin City visit after he missed out on Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat by Forfar through injury.
Full-back James Creaney and midfielder Andy Geggan are both rated as doubts by interim boss Alan Adamson, who includes Falkirk midfielder Craig McLeish in his squad after the youngster agreed a second loan spell at the Sons.
Adamson is looking for an improvement from his side saying, "Brechin will be as strong as Forfar were and we have to stand up to the challenge better than we did the other night. We did contribute to our own downfall with a couple of errors but we need to do better and having Jon available will certainly help us do that."
Brechin welcome back defender Gerry McLauchlan after hernia surgery as they look to keep their unbeaten away record intact.
Midfielder Charlie King is still absent for second-placed Brechin following his ankle injury and fellow midfielder Kevin Byers is a doubt after picking up a knock, with manager Jim Weir advising that the chances of any new faces being on-board before kick off "are slim."
Weir added: "Dumbarton have picked up from earlier in the season and this has the makings of a really difficult contest.
"We're out to win the game and keep that unbeaten run going, but I know that we'll have to play well to do so."
