Mancini confirms City move for Dzeko

Roberto Mancini has confirmed that Manchester City's bid for Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko has been accepted. The Bosnian only needs to agree with personal terms before he becomes a City player.
There was intense speculation in the Italian media that Juventus will try to pry away the player from City at the last minute but this doesn't seem to be the case.
Mancini revealed that Wolfsburg had accepted a £27 million fee to transfer their talent to City. "We have agreed a fee," told the ex-Inter coach to journalists.
"He is a good player and all the teams in Europe want him, but we have an important game at Arsenal coming up and I will speak about him after that."
Dzeko had been repeatedly linked with a move to the Bianconeri in recent days with some outlets even claiming that the striker had issued a 'Come and get me' plea to Turin.
However, Juventus' huge investment in the summer and the new law prohibiting more than one non-EU signing every year seems to have played a part in the collapse of the proposed deal.
The Old Lady may still be in the market for a forward however, as both Amauri and Iaquinta have struggled with injuries and form respectively this season.
