Dundee made it six straight wins in the First Division as a 2-0 success against Ross County continued their amazing fight to beat the drop in a tempestuous affair at Dens Park.
The Dark Blues were awarded a penalty in the 28th minute when Paul Lawson brought down Craig Forsyth in the area. Matt Lockwood stepped up to score.
Forsyth was booked in the 50th minute for a challenge on Darren McCormack which saw the defender, who had only come on at the start of the second half, leave the field.
A foul by McCormack`s replacement, Stuart Kettlewell, on Forsyth just after the hour resulted in a melee which saw five players booked.
The home side wrapped up the points with seven minutes remaining when Leigh Griffiths played in Gary Harkins and he found the bottom corner from 12 yards.
Both sides battled until the end, with Kettlewell dismissed in the ninth minute of injury time for a poor tackle on Harkins.
