Winger Willie Gibson, who was due to miss the game because of suspension, now faces a longer spell on the sidelines after going down with a viral infection.

Goalkeeper Greg Paterson, defender Jack Ross and the midfield pair of Steven Bell and Alex Burke all remain sidelined through injury.

Manager Jim McIntyre is looking to finish 2010 at the top of the table.

He said: "We have been there or thereabouts for most of the season and it would be good to end the year in top spot by getting a win.

"We know from earlier in the season that Cowdenbeath will make it very hard for us."

Cowdenbeath defender Kenny Adamson has recovered from a knock but but there is an injury doubt over fellow centre-back Joe Mbu.

Dene Droudge and Danny Mackay continue to be sidelined with long-term injuries.

Manager Jimmy Nicholl has seen his side lose their last three matches, shipping eight goals in the process.

He said: "We have started giving away soft goals and that is something we were not doing earlier in the season.

"We have only had the one game in the past month at Dundee so we need to have everyone on top form for this one."
