Sandor Egervari's men recorded a comfortable win over Lithuania in a match, which marked Borussia Dortmund midfielder Tamas Hajnal's return to action after a lengthy spell out with injury.
Hungary named two strikers with all the attention understandably fixed upon Adam Szalai, who has been a minor revelation this season with Bundesliga side Mainz. However, after a scoreless first half, it was another attacker who opened the scoring.
Tamas Priskin came off the bench to give Hungary the lead after 61 minutes. The Ipswich striker found the net with his ninth international goal to send his side on their way.
The game was put to bed ten minutes from the end thanks to a stunning 25-yard free-kick from PSV winger Balazs Dzsudzsak.
