A Ross Campbell brace secured the three points for Forfar in an impressive 3-1 win at East Fife.
Forfar edged the first half, with Campbell opening the scoring with a neat strike from the edge of the area just before the interval.
Despite conceding close to half-time it was the home side that came out flying at the start of the second half, and East Fife were rewarded for their pressure.
Robert Linn equalised after 53 minutes with a close-range finish from Michael Deland's long pass.
The visitors responded well and regained the lead just seven minutes later when sub Martyn Fotheringham finished off Bryan Deasley's cross.
Campbell then completed his contribution with the killer blow after 70 minutes, converting Scott Allan's left-wing cross with a powerful header.
