Thistle loss sends them bottom

Stirling dumped Partick to the foot of the table as they ran out 4-2 winners in a highly entertaining game at the Forthbank Stadium.
Gordon Smith opened the scoring for the home side after just two minutes when he headed home a Ryan Borris cross from six yards but Kris Doolan levelled the scores with a header in the 15th minute.
Smith put Stirling back in front with a close-range effort after 27 minutes and Christopher Aitken extended their advantage from the penalty spot three minutes later following a foul on Smith.
Aitken grabbed his second of the game in the 66th minute and although Doolan pulled one back for Partick in the 79th minute, Stirling ran out worthy winners.
