Prunty strike enough for Alloa

Alloa stayed within a point of league leaders Brechin following a 1-0 win over Airdrie at New Broomfield.
Bryan Prunty's fifth goal of the season was enough to secure three points for his team in an ill-tempered affair that saw the home side end the game with nine men.
Prunty headed home a David Gormley cross in the 34th minute to give his team all three points, but he should have opened the scoring before then after wasting two good chances.
Airdrie's Rhys Devlin was dismissed for a professional foul in the 73rd minute before Kieran Stallard received his second yellow card four minutes later, leaving his side with little chance of finding an equaliser.
