AC Milan beats Parma 1-0

MILAN(AP) —Andrea Pirlo scored the only goal of the game as AC Milan defeated Parma 1-0 in the Serie A on Saturday.
The midfielder scored in the 25th minute to decide a dour match between teams who worked hard but lacked imagination in the final third of the pitch.
The result means Milan is top of the Serie A overnight on 11 points. Inter Milan and Lazio are second and third with 10 and play on Sunday.
Parma, meanwhile, stay on five points and drop into the relegation zone.
Also, Udinese gained its first win of the season, but needed an injury-time winner from Mehdi Benatia to beat Cesena 1-0.
