Point apiece at Ochilview

Stenhousemuir and East Fife started the afternoon just a point apart in the Second Division and ended the day the same way after fighting out a 1-1 draw at Ochilview Park.

East Fife created the first opportunity of the game in the 16th minute when Robert Sloan's corner found Lloyd Young but the midfielder`s header went wide from six yards.

Fife took the lead in the 51st minute with a similar chance, Sloan again delivered the cross, finding John Ovenstone in the centre, and his close-range header left Stenhousemuir goalkeeper Alistair Brown with little chance.

Stephen Murray equalised for the home side in the 66th minute, converting a Pat Scullion from close in, and that is how it stayed.
