Stirling and Queen of the South had to settle for a share of the spoils as they battled out a goalless draw at the Forthbank Stadium.
The game started slowly and the first shot at goal did not arrive until the 17th minute when Stirling's loan striker Gordon Short tried his luck from 25 yards but his effort flew high and wide.
The pattern continued throughout the game and the first shot on target did not arrive until 16 minutes into the second half.
Rob Harris tried his luck for Queen of the South but Stirling keeper Callum Reidford was equal to his effort.
Both managers tried to inject some life into their team with substitutions but neither side could force a breakthrough.
