Raith pay penalty

John Baird`s missed penalty saw Raith knocked off the top following a goalless draw with Dundee at Dens Park.

Raith fluffed the perfect opportunity to go in front after 36 minutes when Baird's spot-kick was saved by Rob Douglas after Milan Misun had fouled Gregory Tade in the box.

Misun was booked for his troubles and Tade was again denied a goal a few minutes later, this time by the woodwork, his header from an Allan Walker corner rattling the crossbar.

Both teams cancelled each other out in the second period but Dundee looked the more likelier to grab a winner.

Eric Paton, Jamie Adams, Colin McMenamin and Leigh Griffiths all tried their luck but to no avail.
