East Fife v Dumbarton: Fifers looking strong
Posted Saturday, August 28, 2010 by PA
East Fife boss Steve Crawford has some welcome selection dilemmas for the visit of Dumbarton.
Crawford has a fully-fit squad to choose from with the exception of long-term injured defender Stevie Campbell.
Crawford, who may opt to drop himself, said: "I don't think I have had so many players available to me since I became the manager and it is a nice problem to have.
The Sons' poor start to the season is not fooling Crawford, who added: "They got off to a slow start last season and very nearly made the play-offs so all they need is a win to get going.
"I obviously want to make sure they do not get it here."
Dumbarton manager Jim Chapman is hoping to add a couple of new faces to his squad ahead of kick-off.
Winger Mark Gilhaney is a target while Chapman also has other names in mind.
Former Hibs and Dunfermline frontman Ross Campbell is the only absentee.
Chapman said: "East Fife have good experience in their team with the likes of Steven Hislop and Bobby Linn and it will be a tough game, however if we get a bit of luck in front of goal that we are due then we will do okay."
