Portugal deny Nani rift reports

The Portuguese Football Federation have dismissed reports Nani was sent home from the World Cup for reasons other than a shoulder injury.
The Manchester United winger told reporters at Lisbon airport that he would be "fine in a week" meaning that, if his claims are true, he would have only missed Portugal's opener against the Ivory Coast and would have recovered in time to face Brazil and North Korea.
But vice-president of the Portuguese federation Amandio de Carvalho insists there are no problems between Nani and the coaching staff, and said: "There is no attempting to hide anything, there was only the hope that he could have recovered."
