Official: Ariel Ibagaza Leaves Villarreal

Villarreal have failed to come to an agreement with Argentinian midfielder Ariel Ibagaza over a new contract and confirmed that he will be seeking a new club this summer.
An official statement read:
“There was no agreement for the contract renewal and Ariel 'Cano' Ibagaza will cease to be player of Villarreal on June 30. The negotiations between his agent and the club have not borne fruit and the Argentinian, whose contract terminated this season, will not wear the shirt of the club next season. Villarreal CF wishes to thanks Ibagaza for his services over the past two seasons and wish him luck in his new professional career.”
Ibagaza played 54 times for Villarreal in La Liga since his arrival in 2008 and scored three goals.
