Quartet cut from Korea squad
South Korea coach Huh Jung-moo has cut four players from his 30-man preliminary World Cup squad following the 2-0 friendly win over Ecuador.
Defenders Hwang Jae-won of Pohang Steelers and Suwon Bluewings' Kang Min-soo will not make the trip to South Africa, while Suwon midfielder Cho Won-hee and Kim Chi-woo of FC Seoul are also left out.
There are a few injury concerns for the coach. Midfielder Kim Jae-sung limped off against the South Americans but should be fully recovered next week but a thigh injury could keep striker Lee Dong-gook out of action for two to three weeks.
