Blue Brazil reach final

Second-half strikes from Gareth Wardlaw and Paul McQuade ensured Cowdenbeath reached the final of the Scottish Football League Championship First Division play-offs as they beat Alloa 3-1 on aggregate.
It was all to play for at Recreation Park as John Dempster's late strike for Cowdenbeath had cancelled out David Gormley's effort in the first leg.
Danny Lennon's men did not have it all their own way and David Hay made a brilliant stop from Bryan Prunty's strike from the edge of the area in the 11th minute.
However, Wardlaw put the Blue Brazil in front in the 59th minute when he latched on to a pass from Scott McBride and buried a shot past David Crawford.
Wardlaw then turned provider to tee up McQuade and he made no mistake with his finish eight minutes from time to ensure Cowdenbeath will meet Brechin for a place in the First Division next season.
