Arbroath will face a relegation play-off to preserve their Scottish League Two status after they drew 2-2 with East Fife.
In a first half bereft of clear-cut chances, East Fife's Stephen Crawford and Robert Linn forced saves from home goalkeeper Darren Hill.
However, the match came to life in the second half with three goals in nine minutes.
Linn gave the away side the lead with a cracking 30-yard free kick before Steven Doris equalised with a left-footed effort from the edge of the area, David Muir then headed home to restore the Fifers lead.
James Redman equalised again for the home side with a looping header after 71 minutes and although both teams pushed for a winner they could not find one.
