Rooney secures winning finale

Champions Inverness rounded off their season in winning fashion as they saw off Dundee 1-0 at the Caledonian Stadium.
Terry Butcher's side had the title in the bag after Dundee slipped up at Raith 10 days ago and they rubbed salt into their rivals` wounds with a thoroughly-deserved victory.
It was Dundee who had started stronger, though, and nearly took the lead in the sixth minute when Sean Higgins struck the upright from 35 yards.
But Inverness showed why they are returning to the SPL at the first time of asking when top scorer Adam Rooney found the net.
The striker rattled home his 27th goal of the season to round off an impressive campaign after latching onto Nicholas Ross' pass.
The visitors struggled to find an equaliser and Caley dominated thereafter to secure a win and clean sheet to sign off their campaign in style.
