Ross County v Morton - Ross out to break win duck
Posted Monday, April 26, 2010 by PA
Ross County are looking for their first league win in six games when Morton visit.
However, midfielder Paul Lawson and striker Steven Craig are expected to miss out again because of injuries.
Manager Derek Adams is determined to ensure his men taste victory again.
He said: "There is not much wrong with our play but we need to convert the chances we are making to win games again.
"Morton will be dangerous opponents as they will want to get out of the danger at the foot of the table and we want to move up so it should be a cracking match. We have a busy final week coming up and it would be good to end our home games on a high"
Morton full-back Kevin McKinlay and winger Jim McAlister are missing through injury ahead of the trip to Ross County.
Striker Peter Weatherson is doubtful because of his long-standing hernia problem.
A run of only one win in eight games has seen Morton dragged back into relegation trouble and a defeat against County could see the Greenock men in bottom spot by the time they face Ayr United in their final league game next Saturday.
Cappielow boss James Grady said: "I am looking for us to put on a much more determined show that we did at East End Park on Saturday.
"A win and we are almost safe and that is what I am looking for us to get."
