Clyde feel the heat

Clyde were all but consigned to relegation from Scottish Division Two with a 2-0 home defeat to Arbroath.
Two first half goals were enough to seal the victory which saw Arbroath gain ground on the teams above them as they look to avoid an end of season relegation play-off.
The visitors took the lead with just nine minutes on the clock when Callum Booth whipped in an inviting cross from the left wing which was met by Bryan Scott who guided his effort into the bottom corner of the goal from 12 yards.
The visitors doubled their lead after 32 minutes when Mitchel Megginson found space in the penalty area and calmly slotted the ball past Clyde goalkeeper Callum Reidford from six yards out.
Clyde, who have now only won one of their last 15 league games, had an opportunity to reduced the arrears with 13 minutes remaining but Adam Strachan's 25-yard effort flew just wide.
