McMenamin inspires Dundee victory

Colin McMenamin scored twice as second-placed Dundee brushed aside struggling Ayr with a comfortable 3-0 victory in the First Division.
The home side started brightly and Sean Higgins' pass led to a 20-yard McMenamin strike into the bottom left corner after nine minutes.
And just 10 minutes later Higgins converted a fantastic 25-yard free-kick after Martin Campbell has brought down Andrew Shinnie.
Ayr's opportunities in the first half were limited, and their only real chance came when a Tom McManus header was blocked by Craig McKeown.
And on the hour-mark, Higgins was once again on hand to set up McMenamin, who could not miss with a close-range header which put the icing on the cake.
