Simon Donnelly's late strike ended Partick's run of three consecutive defeats as they claimed a 2-1 win over promotion-chasing Dunfermline.
The hosts started brightly but Ian McCall's men took a 27th-minute lead thanks to Liam Buchanan's 25-yard drilled effort.
Dunfermline levelled after 37 minutes when Calum Woods' long-range pass found Steven McDougall in the area and the striker converted a close-range strike.
Jonathan Tuffey produced fine saves from Nick Phinn and Chris Higgins respectively after half-time to keep the Jags level.
At the other end, Buchanan was denied his second by Greg Fleming's fantastic reflex save.
Donnelly settled matters nine minutes from time with a shot from the edge of the area that flew past Tuffey to end the Pars' six-game unbeaten run.
