East Fife pulled further clear of the relegation zone as they heaped more pressure on Arbroath with a 3-1 win at the Bayview Stadium.
The visitors opened the scoring when Steven Hislop stabbed home Callum Booth's pass inside the six yard box after six minutes.
East Fife drew level in the 25th minute when Jamie McCunnie finished neatly from close range.
The home side went ahead when Stewart Murdoch's 20-yard drive found the bottom corner in the 75th minute.
They doubled their advantage six minutes later, McCunnie grabbing his second when he finished neatly from Robert Linn's cross.
Jerry McLaughlin went close to reducing the deficit late on but his header flew over the bar as the hosts held out for the win.
