Stranraer have completed the signing of Romauld Bouadji ahead of their cup tie with Inverurie Locos this weekend.
The 26-year-old defender was capped at under-16 level for France and has played in Scotland with Clyde.
He began his career at AS Saint Etienne before moving to England and playing for Carshalton Athletic
Meanwhile, Inverurie manager Dave Cormie said: "With our home draw we must ensure chances this week are tucked away as Stranraer, although lying low in the SFL, are a young side with ambitions of a Scottish run themselves.
"I am hopeful Mo Morrison will be back in the side having been injured in the last couple of games as his presence in these type of games is invaluable.
"Captain Tam Wilson will be telling factor for us as we need him to boss the midfield area where Stranraer are strong."
