"I think we are very, very close to sign a contract and I hope it's going to be done because both parties have the same intention and that is to stay at West Ham. Of course, if you are playing like he is playing, if you are that calibre of player, many clubs are showing interest to get those kind of players but we are going to do everything we can to keep him with us."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Slaven Bilic, West Ham manager (on ticket prices)

"It should be a good price for the fans because football is not polo, it's not golf. It's not a sport for the upper class. Football is a mass sport, it's the most popular sport and it shouldn't be a privilege for people or families to go and watch their team live playing a football game. It should be affordable. If you go to a shop and you want to buy caviar or champagne, it should cost, no problem with that. But bread, milk should be cheap and they are cheap so in my opinion it should be the same with the prices of the tickets."
