    SOUNDBITE: (English) Vijender Singh:

"I would like to announce, I'm going to pro now and, because in the amateurs I spent almost 15 or 16 years and I did everything in amateurs like Olympic medal, world championship, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, everything. But this time.... to prove prove myself at the professional level because I know in amateurs there are so many good boxers from India, but I don't think, there's hardly one or two boxer(s) in pro(s), and I represent my nation, my country at an international level and yes, I'm very excited to be here.

"I already play (boxed at) I think in three Olympics, like 2004, (200)8, (20)12, and I gave my best, like I get the Olympic medal in Beijing, Beijing 2008 and quarter-finalist in 2012 Olympics, so.... but I told you, there's no good (Indian) boxer(s) in pro level, like in pro boxing. So, I'm the only one, I haven't tried that thing. (An) Indian boxer can do best or better in pro boxing. So it's not about me, it's not about.... professional or something like that, but it's all about (the) nation. I can say that, because it's a new big thing, it's new things and I want to do that."
