Besiktas beat Sivasspor 3-2 in a five goal Turkish league thriller at the Osmanli Stadi in Ankara on Sunday (October 19) to go top of the table.

Besiktas were at home on Sunday for their Turkish Super Lig fixture against struggling Sivasspor.

The hosts were hoping for a win that would send them back to the top of the standings, above Galatasary.

Yet 14th placed Sivasspor, had other ideas.

Whether it was a Slaven Bilic masterstroke at half time, Besiktas found their stride in the second half.

Demba Ba with a poachers goal to pull the sides level.

And then the striker doubled his account for the game & the season. 2-1 Besiktas.

As clinical as Besiktas were, at the other end they conceded an equaliser via Hakan Arslan.

Into the final 10 minutes, Besiktas went in search of the winner.

Ba was involved again, setting up Olcay Sahan.

3-2 to Besiktas, who head back to the summit, one point ahead of Galatasaray after six games of the Super Lig season.
