TOP four rivals Arsenal and Manchester United are two of the clubs tracking Frenchman Aurelien Tchouameni.

Tchouameni is likely to be one of the most sought after talents on the market this summer, with the 22-year-old wanted by a whole host of clubs.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported Arsenal and Man United are two of the clubs after his signature.

As per Transfermarkt, Tchouameni is worth £36m.

However, it has been reported that either club will need at least £60m to sign him from Monaco.

The defensive midfielder has broken into the France starting XI over the last 12 months, earning eight caps and bagging his first goal against the Ivory Coast during the most recent international break.

He has made 47 appearances this season, contributing three goals and two assists.

Defensively, he ranks first in Ligue 1 for tackles and interceptions this season, winning over 70% of his aerial duels as well as per FBref.

In addition, he is also strong on the ball, ranking 14th for carries and 10th for passes into the final third in Ligue 1.

These figures prove his ability both on and off the ball, which is a necessity of both Arsenal and Man United's style's of play.

Whoever signs him will be recruiting one of the best DM's currently around, and assuming he can translate his form from Ligue 1 into the Premier League, he should grow into a rock solid foundation player.
