Man Utd star Bruno Fernandes' account shares Arsenal post in embarrassing blunder

Man United midfielder Bruno Fernandes’ Twitter account appeared to make a hilarious error by posting a random Arsenal picture following the Red Devils’ abysmal derby day defeat

Bruno Fernandes' account appeared to make an embarrassing blunder on Twitter following Manchester United's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.

United were tactically and technically dominated by their rivals as two first-half goals secured City all three points, the first an own-goal by Eric Bailly and the second a poked finish by Bernardo Silva.

Portuguese playmaker Fernandes had one of his worst performances to date in a Man United shirt, failing to get a grip on the game due to City’s mastery of possession.

And Red Devils fans were handed a double whammy after his account appeared to post a baffling picture of Arsenal players celebrating in a now-deleted tweet.

It was quickly saved by football fans and shared again on Twitter.

The picture showed several Arsenal players celebrating with a jarringly joyous caption

The post to his 2.3million Twitter followers showed a picture of Arsenal players Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli and Mohamed Elneny celebrating during a training session.

The caption, which read “Gooood vibes”, came after the demoralising defeat United suffered on the day.

However, an eagle-eyed Arsenal fan pointed out that Gunners star Gabriel Martinelli posted the exact same caption and picture on his account.

He quote-tweeted the Arsenal winger, adding: “The same people must manage Gabi’s account.”

Fernandes’ post has since been deleted but not without some hilarious responses from Manchester United supporters who saw the funny side on social media.

One fan tweeted “Bruno Fernandes’ social media team should be sacked after this stupid tweet,” along with a laughing emoji.

Another said: “Clearly a mistake from his social media team who have other clients. But the best thing to come from today regardless. Needed a laugh.”

A third simply added: “He’s taking the p***.”
