The 32-year-old attacker will miss Saturday's LaLiga clash with Rayo Vallecano at the Bernabeu.

But Real boss Ancelotti confirmed the Dragons captain will turn up in Cardiff on Monday ahead of the qualifiers with Belarus and Belgium.

The Italian, 62, said: “He trained with the squad but won’t be in the squad because he hasn’t trained a lot with the team.

"He’s going to go to Wales and they will assess whether he’s fit or not. It’ll be down to how the player trains there.

"Bale is fine and it’s clear it’s very important he feels right training after two months out and whether he’s feeling confident.

"It’s not his best period here but the fans will not forget what he’s done and we have to keep the faith.

"If he is right when he comes back from international duty and he deserves to play, he will play.”

While Bale has got the nod, Romelu Lukaku will miss Belgium’s trip to Wales on November 16 as well as a home qualifier with Estonia a week today.

Chelsea’s £97.5million club-record signing has missed their last four matches with an ankle injury and is out of today’s Stamford Bridge clash with Burnley.

Belgium chief Roberto Martinez has called up Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke and recalled Liverpool’s Divock Origi after a year out of the squad.

He also handed a first call-up to Dante Vanzeir of Belgian side Union SG as Michy Batshuayi — who is on loan at Besiktas from Chelsea — is out injured.

Martinez said: “Christian is always ready, it is also a new opportunity for Origi.

"The evolution of Dante is impressive. He is writing a great story in Belgium with the promotion, the top-scorer title in 1B and now the lead in the Pro League. Now I’ve two attackers injured, it’s a good time to go.”

Lukaku posted a fitness update yesterday and hopes to return to action for Prem leaders Chelsea after the international break.

He tweeted: “Running today let’s see how that goes.”
