There has been a fresh twist in this weekend's saga involving Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi, who appear to be breaking up. On Saturday, Wanda Nara unfollowed her husband and wrote a message that suggested he had been unfaithful. On Sunday, the player was excused from PSG training, before he shared photos of his wife and agent on social media.
First, Icardi shared an image on his Instagram stories. Then, he added another on his feed to wish Wanda Nara a happy mother's day, since this day is being celebrated in Argentina right now.
It appears, though, that these aren't recent images.
Wanda Nara shared various posts on social media throughout Sunday, but no more about Icardi.
It remains to be seen if the rumours are true, with it alleged that Icardi had an affair with model and actress China Suarez. If the breakup is genuine, then it also remains to be seen if Icardi's affectionate Sunday night post will earn him forgiveness. It seems this saga is far from over.
