Cristiano Ronaldo with Juventus
Following Portugal's elimination from Euro 2020 at the round of 16 stage at the hands of Belgium, Cristiano Ronaldo is planning ahead for next season. Ronaldo is reportedly looking to secure a move away from Juventus after a disappointing third season at the club.
There are reports in Italy that claim Juventus have already drawn up a shortlist of three players to replace the Portuguese forward should he leave this summer.
According to Tuttosport, they are Gabriel Jesus, Mauro Icardi and Dusan Vlahovic. Here comes a look at each of them.
Gabriel Jesus
The Manchester City striker has never managed to secure his place in the starting XI at his club, and often found himself out of team as Pep Guardiola opted to play without a recognised striker for the majority of last season.
However, there is no doubting his enormous potential and, given the chance to shine at Juventus, he could finally prove himself as one of the best strikers in European football.
Mauro Icardi
Juventus have also reportedly identified Icardi, with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly ready to offload the striker just one season after he signed on a permanent deal for a reported 60 million euros.
Although he endured a difficult second season in Paris, Juventus would aim to get Icardi back to the brilliant form he showed during his time at Inter.
Dusan Vlahovic
Tuttosport have stated that the club are also looking at Dusan Vlahovic, the young striker who dazzled last season at Fiorentina.
Whilst Fiorentina endured a difficult season, finishing 13th in Serie A, the 21-year-old's form was brilliant throughout, registering 21 league goals.
