The prospect of winning Euro 2020 isn't the only thing motivating Ciro Immobile this month.

Immobile, 31, is the man charged with firing his country to European Championship glory after a stunning season with Lazio where he scored 25 goals in all competitions.

His accuracy in front of goal will be all-important if Italy are to win the Euros for the first time since 1968.

Ahead of Immobile's first start of the tournament against Turkey, the hotshot centre-forward was clearly missing the presence of his gorgeous wife Jessica Melena, leaving a teasing comment underneath her latest Instagram snap.

Italy striker will have the support of his wife Jessica throughout the Euros

Jessica, 30, uploaded a seductive photo of herself wearing a matching red sports bra and shorts and a pair of killer white heels with blue and red trim.

Captioned with the words “strike a pose”, the brunette bombshell picked up 35,000 likes from her devoted followers – and a comment from her hubby Immobile.

He replied with a single heart emoji, displaying the love between the pair who first met in 2012 when the striker was playing at Pescara on-loan from Juventus.

Their romance has stood the test of time – not that Immobile ever had doubts over their union.

“On the third day [after meeting] he wrote to me in a message: 'You will be the mother of my children...'”, revealed Jessica to the Italian media a number of years ago.

“I said that I thought it was a bit strong, but then soon after he kept his promise. His were true words.”

Immobile kept his promise and the couple now have three children, daughters Michela and Giorgia, and son Mattia.

The centre-forward will be hoping to bring the Euro 2020 trophy home for not just his country, but his family too.
